My art navigates the bittersweet experience of a queer Black man raised on the Compton/LA border. Using a bold, graphic 2D animation style, I build stylized universes centering Black identity, queer culture, and multi-dimensional femininity. Resourcefully blending clay, tile, sequins, and human hair, my work channels a "ghetto fabulous" aesthetic. I transform personal and collective trauma into visual testimonies of survival, proving that art is a vital necessity for healing.
