Chris Meshel is a multidisciplinary artist, poet, writer, and immigration attorney based between Dallas and Barcelona. Through painting, textiles, and mixed media, she explores memory, migration, identity, and belonging. Her work draws on the American South and her legal experience to examine race, nationality, and cultural perception. Her recent series, "But Where Are You From, From?", questions borders, belonging, and the stories that define who we are.
