Rising Gospel artist Imani Shola returns with her new single 'Oxygen'

Bold, talented, and charismatic, Imani Shola has been on a roll with her latest string of Gospel singles. From her commanding voice to her soulful melodies, Imani has been making waves in the Gospel music industry.


The rising star is back with a new single titled 'Oxygen'. The track is an ode to self-love and acceptance. The track serves as Imani's guiding support system throughout troubling times.

"'Oxygen' is a song about being hungry for more of God and knowing He is your everything. I learnt what it means to be fully reliant on faith and trust in God"


Born in North London, her father was a gifted jazz-saxophonist, and for as long as she can remember Imani has been aligned with the best in Jazz, Soul and Gospel music. Raised on the melodies of greats like Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone and Mary Mary; Miles Davis and Erykah Badu; Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones. Characterized by her distinctive harmonies and authentic lyricism her gift has allowed her to worked alongside producers Duane Caleb, Jay Picasso and Jacob Essel, who have helped her burst into the industry with a distinctive sound. Since building up a buzz from her 2020 debut, with tracks 'Author of My Life' and 'Gold (Job 23;10)' both receiving over 10K streams and featured on Gospel Hydration; Imani Shola shaping up to have an amazing New Year including her upcoming 2023 EP.
